I wish I lived in the middle of nowhere where I could be surrounded by surreal beauty every passing moment and I could live and be and appreciate it all, breathing and blinking and loving it. I can't recall how many times I have driven past hills, through mountains, across deserts, past the curving shore, and wanted with all of my being to spring from the car and run into it all and breathe it and let it take hold. I think I know that in this here and now that never can and never will happen. But I can find a new here in a new now and it will be lovely and wonderful. To that place I will belong, and brilliant my life will be. One day. One sunny day. Oh how I do love to love. And how I do love this silly little song.
