Listening to: natural night-nedelle
Feeling: peeved
open your sleepy eyes
walk aways from those dreamy skys
of flowers and boats
taboggans and moats
pull your warm little feet
out of your soft pretty sheet
not ready to start the day
its april not may
walking down the stairs
fumbling with your stray hairs
your mothers not there
and your fathers sitting in his chair
its almost three
it started easily
with mounting misery
pick up the phone
so your not so alone
it rings and nobodys home
place it back down
give a small little frown
this a city not a town
eat a cinnamon bun
avoiding all fun
your peacefully relaxed
your not the one being taxed
sitting in your slip
sailing away on your very own ship
what a beautiful face
i have found in this place
what a beautiful dream
at the flash on the screen
and one day we will dye
and our ashes will fly
but for now we are young
let us lay in the sun
and count every beautiful thing we can see.
