So I went to the store this morning to buy some soup and as I'm being checked out by the cashier, I notice how beautiful the girl is that's bagging my food. I've never seen anyone quite so gorgeous in my entire life..... she was so breathtaking that I nearly forgot to take my change from the cashier!! Anyway, she handed me my food and said "have a nice day" and that's when the world stopped. For a brief moment the only thing I was aware of was the sound of her soothing voice and the gleam of her lucious lips as they uttered that wonderful message. As the earth began to spin again, I spotted a 25 cent machine with rings in it and since I am the stupidest person in the world.... I bought her a ring from the machine. After gathering all the courage I could muster, I went to where she was standing and handed her the ring. The only thing I could think of to say was: "I think you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen and I want you to have this ring." She stared at me with an amused expression that spelled R-E-J-E-C-T-I-O-N and said "I'm sorry but I already have a boyfriend." I then tried to act like I was just being a nice person by giving her the ring but she saw right through me with those big, wet, beautiful, blue eyes. She did however take the ring out of it's little bubble and put it on right before I drove home feeling like the most foolish person in the entire world. However, as I lay sulking in front of my television set, a news story came on about the danger of lead poisoning that resulted from people buying little toys from 25 cent machines. From what I gathered, some manufacturers' toys had 60x the amount of lead that they should have in them and now people were DYING as a result of making close contact with the toys. Now I feel even worse....
