In a small house in Southern California.

She had a blast the previous night but woke up dreading the day. Her and her friends had watched Saw and held each other as they were frightened. She had talked to the boy whom she liked for over an hour and realized how amazingly alike he was. She had shared a bed with Marissa and talked about many things that made her smile. Everything was perfect. (Except that she was still scared of the people in the movie!) She woke up to say good bye to her friends but after they left she climbed into her parents' bed, as no one was home, and slept until 12:52. She awoke to Amanda calling her cell phone and, realizing how late it was, immediately jumped out of bed to do her chores. She finished quickly and took a shower and got ready to go to the mall. Today was the day she was meeting Sean. After about 2 1/2 hours of Amanda getting ready, they got to the mall and walked around for a bit. Then they met Sean. It was a bit of a let down when not much conversation occurred but it was bound to happen. He also didn't look exactly as she pictured but looks don't matter much. It was a quite boring experience at the mall though. She went home to an empty house around 6:30 and waited for her parents to get home and yell at her. She wanted to go to the movies with Scott but he later called and said he couldn't. So I went to get dinner with my parents. She gets home and tomorrow is cancelled. No going to the drumline competition. No fun. Nothing. Marissa never even asked her parents so now they can't give me and Amanda a ride home. And she was going to ride up with Scott but now she won't be going. She's so disappointed she could cry. But she isn't going to. This is a step that needs to be taken that her therapist would be proud of. She could scream and kick about this, but she will keep her cool. No matter what.
