Sixty-Four Degrees (Vitamin-D Surge)

Feeling: terrified
When it's nice out, you can't help but hope that somehow that radiance will pass to your day, and not just to you physically. Sure, that vitamin-D surge when you step out into the sunlight and start walking to class can be nice, but all you wish for is for the surge to last you for a while before you head to class, shut yourself in a cubicle, and feel the carbon dioxide start to put you to sleep. It was that nice out today. People skated and walked to class in shorts. Some of the skaters had cell phones, talking on them as they scooted by. Frisbees flew, and the white from the discs and traveling baseballs was a welcome sight. Then, the study of light puts me to sleep. A 53 on a test. The Fourier Transform problem and the set on Young's double slit experiment and its interference effects proved devastating. My vitamin-D surge died right then and there. I got some of it back out and about with my lady, and through a conversation that was nice to have. :) Now, it's rushing out of me quickly again as Shigetoshi Hasegawa has the bases loaded in the top of the tenth. Not good. But that's what caffeine is for. Tonight, I had the first cup of coffee I've had in months. Two teaspoons of Seattle's Best Creme Brulee blend, with eight ounces of water in my Brew-and-Go. Pure perfection. ^_^

I love the sun, but I guess I like my clouds too. My favorite days are the ones with the puffy, marshmallow white and lazy clouds randomly floating around...when it's not too hot, and not too cold, and nobody cares if you play in the sprinklers, even if you are in high school.
:P
I had a bad grade day, too.
