Nose to the Grindstone

So, I was back at RadioShack in Bath yesterday, to start yet another summer of living in my father's house, and working for commission off the stuff that people just happen to buy from me. It was a LONG day, believe me. And it rained all day. That was the WORST part. I got soaked on the way in, and soaked on the way out. And I got there only to be depressed about the dismal schedule that was laid out for me. Two days working open to close, 8:45 AM-8:00 PM. Two eight hour shifts. One Sunday (that's today). What fun. ^_^0 So, I go from school (inane chaos) to work (corporate mindlessness) once again, and in less than a day, I am forced to make the transition. To use the analogy, I feel like I've been dumped not into a bucket of ice water, but into a bucket of ice.
