I know a kid who you can never beat at Egyptian Rat Screw. He's fast, and he counts cards. Unstoppable. What I've been thinking is that he's going to grow up to be someone's father one day. And in turn, his children will become fathers and mothers. There will be so many, thousands, of card-counting Polish kids with good reflexes, or at least diluted forms of them. Unless it turns out that he's gay, which is what we all really suspect.
