ANTISOCIAL! HA! that's a bit of an understatement, deary. I took a quiz, and when it asked me a sad song that desribes me best, i put Invisible. Now, my friends, you are thinking, "Invisible isnt a sad song, it's a happy song. If you're one of those people, you dont get what the song's about, at all. mhm. Just for Kix and Laffs, who DOES get the deeper meaning of invisible? we basically live in an angst driven society about hating our fathers when we shouldnt be. well, heres what i get from Invisible. To me, this song represents a desperate longing, almost a need to be near that person..even if they dont know youre alive. You so desperately want to reach out and stroke their cheek, tell them it will be alright and work out in the end, but you know you cant. you know they dont even know you're alive. You were prehaps ripped apart at some point, and they forgot about you. "why can't i bring you into my life" means, just that. What did I do? You dont care that they dont take knowledge of your existence. you could almost kill yourself in a heartbeat if they asked you to-you feel Invisible to them. "I reach out, but you dont even see me" and that sequence of lines. To me this means that prehaps they dont care. Maybe you were in a relationship with that person- but you were torn away. "I am nothing without you, just a shadow passing through". you feel like they are a part of you. You need them. when they left, they took your soul with them. your heart. and that my friends, is the meaning of invisible.
