Listening to: Thankful- Cademon\'s Call
Feeling: tired
Hmm....where to start. I guess this is my first entry, so....let's make it worth people's while to read it. *note to self: no rambling* I'm extremely tired right now. A full day (3 hours) of marching has been put in the past, and my legs are telling me it's enough. Yeah...going to the new South High School will be great, but Mr. Kellett (band director) has it in his head to be the best, nothing but the best, and to continue to be the best....*cough* Hitler *cough* No, he's a good band director. He does know how to get the best. Power-stepping is more difficult than it looks...but once you get used to it, it's not so bad. Now only 2 more weeks of it until Band Camp...marching...for nine hours a day...Dear Lord help me. I miss my friends who are staying at the old high school. I'll get to see them in the parade on Saturday, but not for very long like we used to. I'll never get to do "Yellow Woman" (band dance) or play On Papillion...it saddens me so.
One of my best friends, Chelsea, is away for New Ways Singers. They're touring churches in Colorado...and singing. She won't be back for another week-and-a-half...too long. Michelle's dad got a new Camry, a 2003 model...it's nice. Leather interior, cd player, temperature controls not from nobs and switches, but actual display of the temp in the car...and out of it too. It's crazy. hmm.....craziness....This is a great site to visit.... www.homestarrunner.com I love it so. That's about all of my input for today...gotta bust out the Clarinet and memorize music *yawn* and catch some Z's.
