Listening to: Ozzy Osbourne
Feeling: at peace Well, I got my English homework done. I'm still failing Spanish and world geography, but I got my English homework done. Aren't you proud of me? I'm getting new glasses next week, I went in and picked them out today. They are very... emo. Happiness. So, now that I've started reading, I have to ask: What's all this big hype about JRR Tolkien's books? I mean, I know what I like about his writing style ("Oh, man, a fantasy novel, that means lots of obscure and made up words and... hey, this is written in plain and simple language! Yay!")... But how did the guy's work become legendary? His writing, though imaginative, is not specifically all that good, I daresay when I'm his age I will be able to write at a much higher level than he ever did. Is it possible to become a fantasy legend based on creativity and ideas alone? I don't know, it just bugs me. It's late, I've got cramps, and I can't think, so this will have to suffice. Go fuck yourself. It boosts brainpower. ~ Beth

Hmm. I'd say creativity and ideas is the basis of fantasy, but I'm probably wrong. And I'm probably not using very.. good.. grammar. Meh.
