[59] The Girl

Bathroom light Flickering and fading into the night A sunken body Waiting on the razors edge She sings her song in crimson The words painted on the walls Soft eyes staring past this world Seeking and peering into space A song plays somwhere A gentle hum begins to call And so she waits alone, Sitting on the edge of her world Mind dancing in and out of reality She dreams, she breathes and smiles Her body falls forward into the stars Eyes closed gently, lips taking the last breath When the door is opened The walls they read, "And here she lies, a girl who is lost, A girl who has died. But do not worry. Angels took her soul. Here she lies, a girl who is lost, A girl who went to find herself."
