Listening to: Stellar* - Part of me
Feeling: ugly
OK... so I really have no idea what twitterpated actually means... but I like the sound of it... if someone could explain that would be much appreciated.
I declare myself the 'Queen of Procrastination'. I swear, with each new semester at Uni I'm perfecting the art of procrastination. ...which is NOT a good thing.
The one thing I find really funny is how you can have whole conversations about procrastination - especially with other university students. Procrastination is definately an art.
I'm avoiding writing a journalism article that is due tommorrow. I've been trying to sort it out for so long that I'm just really bored with it.
It's on the Pink Ribbon Day Street Appeal which is happening in Auckland on Friday. I've actually found out a lot about Breast Cancer in my research. New Zealand actually has one of the highest rates of Breast Cancer in the western world - approx 2,000 women are diagnosed with it each year. And in a country of only 4 million, thats heaps!!
Anyways, its a pretty scary thing.
The CD I'm listening to at the moment is actually a CD raising funds for Breast Cancer Research - all New Zealand music, which is cool. New Zealand music is actually pretty good at the moment.
You've actually probably heard some of it recently. Zed's music has featured in a couple of movies, most recently The Hot Chick and also American Pie 2 - 'Renegade Fighter'. And apparently Stereogram's 'Walkie Talkie Man' is apparently being used for the iPod advertisements :) which is totally awesome.
It's nice to see NZ music doing well. For a long time a lot of it wasn't even valued by New Zealanders.
Man... this has turned into a long entry... lol. I guess once I start writing it's hard to stop.
It's a nice distraction.
But my journalism calls... and I think I've done enough procrastination for one day.
