Well Guys and Girls... I am finally a free woman! A woman of leisure... well, almost! I had my final exam this afternoon, Intercultural communication! I was really naughty... although I had studied in the week leading up to the exam, I left learning all the appropriate facts, figures and dates till this morning. And this morning I found that my brain just didn't wanna make these facts stick... it was doing a very good job of being a sive! ...but in the end they stayed in there long enough for me to write down in the exam. I don't think my essays were brillaint, but they should be passable... and I only needed about 35% in the exam to pass the paper! YAY. So now... three months freedom! No more study! YAY for summer holidays. *dances around with joy* Yup... *sigh* ...Life is looking very good for me right now!!! I'm really looking forward to thursday. I volunteer at Auckland Children's Hospital - more affectionately known as Starship Hospital. I'm part of the organisation called Radio Lollipop. It basically means that I get the chance to visit the wards of the hosptial and act like a big kid! Colouring in, playing boardgames, playing cards... etc etc. It's great... and this thursday night we're having a Pajama theme... so all of the volunteers are getting dressed up in our best PJ's! How cool is that? And then... on Sunday I'm heading away with a couple of my university friends for a few days. We're heading down to Rotorua, renowned for its thermal activity. Bring on the relaxation and indulgence! Just can't wait to relax in those gorgeously warm pools! Don't you just love going away with your friends? I think you get to know people better when you head out of town for a bit. ooo... I'm grinning just thinking about it! Yea, as I said before... life is good right now!
