So... after a couple of glorious days in Rotorua I'm back up in Auckland. Nothing really exciting happened when I was away... it was just basically a chance to spend time with two of my beautiful buddies and just relax. We had the best day yesterday at the Polynesian Spa http://www.polynesianspa.co.nz/ and it was divine. I've never really been much of a girly girl... apart from the occasional shopping splurge... but I've decided once you've had a facial there is no going back! Mmmm... and the pools were amazing! So relaxed now... yet so tired. Didn't get the chance to check out the night life in Rotorua, which was kinda a downer... I'd brought along my prettiest shoes and everything (Yup, I definately won the contest for the person who brought along the most stuff!) But I don't know if there would have been much going on on a Tuesday anyway. I saw the best quote the other day. It totally describes my life... "I'm just a raggedy anne doll living in a barbie doll world" It's amazing the pressure that some girls put on themselves these days... and guys too... to look good. I found myself now saying "I must get fitter. I must get skinnier." hmmmm... don't wanna get too carried away. ANYHOO... this was meant to be a short entry. But, once again, my fingers and brain have gotten away with me. lol
