So, it's been a while since I've updated - 'my bad!' But my whanau (family) went away on holiday, and the computer wouldn't connect to the internet! And as my dad is the computer geek in the family, and I have no idea about modems and all... that it was a lost cause! But now he's back... and the internet it up and running again! HOORAAH! Haven't been up to much this year... yet :) Been working quite a bit, but I've got today off :) HOORAAH!! The first day in week. Went to dinner the other night with my friend Karina. Since she joined the air force, to train as a navigator, I haven't really seen her much. So, it was a great chance to catch up. Didn't know who else would be heading out to dinner with us, and was pleasantly suprised when a couple of mates I hadn't seen for ages showed up - mary and clare. Clare filled me in on all the goss from 'the group' - aka my old group of friends who seemed to have forgotten me over the last year. So, it was great to hear how everyone was. Started to freak out a lil when I heard that Sam and Bernard were coming to pick them up - 'Brigid you should stay and say hi to Sam and Bernard when they pick us up!' (Bernard aka ex-boyfriend who I also haven't seen for ages!) I ended up meeting up with them, and it was really nice. Bernard and I just smiled at each other. And entered into some general chit-chat - how are you? what have you been up to? etc etc. So, that was really good. ...I don't think I've ever gotten closure from our (pretty much non-existent) relationship, which ended over a year ago. ...btw, from what I can tell he hasn't been seeing anyone since we broke up... and neither have I. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up with them all more often this year. Well... it's 12.16pm and I'm still in my P.J's - don't want to waste all of my day off! So I'm off to have a shower :)
