OK... so I just brought two tickets to see Green Day off Trade Me - the New Zealand version of eBay. This is a good thing... except for one lil detail that I forgot to think about, well... think about properly. Who's going to buy the other ticket off me?! I mean, I brought the tickets for just over double what they retailed (this concert has been sold out for quite a while now)... and I don't know if anyone has enough money to buy the other one off me. OK... Brigid... just breathe... breathe... breathe... I suppose if it all turns to shit I can always try selling the tickets again... and I'm sure I can get back what I paid for them. Or I could just be the most fabulous friend and shout someone... hmmmmm... maybe not! I have money... but not THAT much! It's all going to be alright... yup, it's gonna be fine and dandy. Hopefully my friends will get back to me tonight. Please... please... Puh-lease let one of them be interested in going with me. *sigh* I wasn't supposed to WIN the auction! As my mother said "I have more money than sense". lol, as a little side note, for ages I thought that saying was "more money than cents"... and was like huh? What does that mean? The lightbulb finally clicked a couple of years ago. I should be a blonde. (Anyone in NZ interested in buying a couple of Green Day tickets if it all turns to shit?)
