Hahaha. Oh man. I am currently sitting in the STC chuckling to myself.
This morning, Todd Blanchette, Hampden Academy's resident over-the-top rights activist, got on the PA System and started talking about how it was unbelievable that we have school today (it's snowing) and that the administration doesn't care about us; they only care about themselves. That was about all anyone heard, because his message was instantly put to a halt by who I assume was either Mrs. Yehle or Mr. Greenier. Anyway, he got suspended for the stuff he said. And now approximately half the school has left, after about an hour of running through the halls, banging on the lockers, and screaming "BRING BACK TODDY B!" at full volume. It's so stupid. I'm pretty sure that at least 75% of the people who "protested" and are "on strike" have no idea why they're doing, but soaw others doing it and thought it'd be neat.
Damn you, mob mentality.
Anyway, one of the major points of their argument was that it was ridiculous for the school systems to make the students drive to school in such harsh weather. So what do they do? They drive away during the worst part of the storm. If you're going to attempt a solid argument, one thing you may want to steer clear of is completely contradicting yourself, idiots.
Sadly, I feel that Todd will now be even more full of himself than he is now, for he will think that everyone's doing this for him. He will think that he has inspired others to fight for themselves, when really they're all just searching for another lame excuse to get out of school. And Todd will do his cocky little laugh and play the major role in his conceited litlle act, and I will have to put up with listening to it throughout the entirety of art class once he returns.
In other news, I doslashdonot want to see Ella Enchanted.
