Yesterday mom went back to NYC to hang with Lauren, and Uncle Pete and I hung out here. We went to the beach, where I climbed...
...and then we went to Providence Place to shop for mom's birthday and such. First we went to Dave & Buster's to play many games, and there was this one really cool driving one called Tokyo Cop, and you'd sit in the seat, and as you drove, your seat moved like you were actually in the car...it entertained me immensely and I spent the majority of my card on that one game. I also played tennis against Uncle Pete, which I suck at and he is amazing at, so that was pretty fun. With what I had left, I played a few random games, and then played the ones where I could earn tickets, and then gave all my tickets to some little girl. She seemed thankful. It was nice.
For mom's birthday, we went into Pottery Barn and got a nice shadow box, which we later decorated with random beach-ish accesories and the lyrics to Boys of Summer, which is one of mom's favorite songs. Despite Uncle Pete living approximately 10 minutes from the beach, we also bought a gigantic bag of sand from Pottery Barn for $7.00. We felt so stupid...gah.
After that, we went to Bath & Bodyworks, and I got mom a basket of Coconut Lime & Verbena stuff, which included shower gel, hand cream, moisturizer, and body spritzer...
She cam eback from NYC around 1, and we gave her the stuff, and it made her cry, so I think it wen tover fairly well.
Now I'm here, watching Jiminy Glick and waiting for my cousin Jenn to show up, who is currently stuck in traffic somewhere near a gold course.
Someone, please take your helicopter and go get her.
Thanks!
