NO SHADOW, NOOOOO

Feeling: appreciative
Let's be honest here. I love every single one of my friends more than I could ever properly explain. Saturday night our AP French class had a sleepover at Heather's to practice for our midterm (I know, it sounds ridiculously nerdy, but it was so much fun). We probably actually did french-oriented things for about twenty minutes or so. The rest of the night we played DDR and watched random things online and fell asleep to Spinal Tap. Our French class is super small, so it was fun to just have a few people together and all. It was Aislinn, Heather, Andrea, Fiona and me. Paige couldn't make it, which was very sad. Heather's boyfriend, Mike, stopped by too. It was fun. So Heather's dog, Shadow, is HUGE. He's a black lab/Newfoundland/Rottweiler mix. AH. And he's pretty mean, really. He growls a LOT. Somehow he loved me though, so I had no issues. Aislinn, on the other hand...Sunday morning she had taken Shadow outside to be nice. Shadow then proceeded to bite Aislinn's slipper, and not let go, while it was still very much on her foot. So there was Ace in the front yard, attempting to get this gigantic dog off of her foot, barely being able to go anywhere because every time she'd hop a step forward, Shadow would simply pull her back. It was wonderful to watch, but eventually I decided to intervene after Ace tried for about two minutes to get to a stick on the ground to distract Shadow. I went over to help, but just as I got there, Shadow succeeded in getting the slipper off of Aislinn's foot. So I chased him for a bit and eventually got a hold on the slipper, then fought with him for a bit more to get it out of his mouth. Meanwhile, Aislinn was completely barefoot other than socks in the snow, because we had one slipper and the other had fallen off in her own struggle. After all that, Aislinn and I rolled in the snow in our pajamas. No real reason. It was entertaining though. We played a little more DDR, then it was eventually time to leave. So we did. The roads were pretty bad, since it had rained all day Friday then snowed Saturday night, but Ace's boss Jeep Liberty or whatever it is did well. My car was parked at her house though, and once I got into mine and had to drive home, Ricardo did not do so well. I almost hit the guardrail getting onto the interstate near Citgo. It was very scary. Damn you, rear wheel drive. It also got me stuck in a ditch on the side of Eliot Potvin's driveway for 1.5 hours Friday. No, that wasn't embarrassing or anything...ngh. Midterms are this weekend. Insert second ngh. I got my Clark application in. Whoooooo. But a third ngh because I still have to do Ithaca and UMaine. Luckily those are rolling applications. Okay, that's enough for now. There may be pictures later, I can't decide. Oh P.S. It's official. I'm road-tripping this summer to be in The Price is Right's audience.

I read this, and then didn't comment. Now I still don't have too much to say, sorry, but... I read it!

Also, where is the Price is Right filmed? If NYC is on the way, can I my apartment be a stop, and then I will go with you? I so want to get in on that action, even though if I were called down I'd be absolutely awful. I don't know how to guess prices for things at all.
