Through a magnificent crisp, clear, cold, winter sunrise over the hills and the bay, the radio reported that fears of another terror attack in New York for some reason drive up the price of oil worldwide (petrol already at a record high here in .za), that a bus sped (!!) around a blind mountain corner in Peru and fell off the Andes, 3 people were killed in a road-rage shootout (that's right - a road-rage shootout), and that the South African government is, on the concerns raised by local Muslim groups, seriously thinking of cancelling Christmas, since it was instituted under the former apartheid government at the insistence of the Dutch Reformed Church (aka filthy South African white racist infidels - a statement currently only partially true). What the fuck is wrong with these people? Attention remaining humans: If you still have any vestiges of sanity, now is the time to duck and cover. Anyone caught loitering with intent to have rational thoughts will be shot on sight. Thank-you for your co-operation. It was a truly awe-inspiring sunrise. I didn't like the accompanying soundtrack.
