Bleh Wednesday

Feeling: concerned
so My old email mate Brad has gone missing. I haven't heard from him in an age. Sent an email to the address I have for him and it bounces, says "Account deleted or inactive." Now what? Any ideas? At this point, let me fes sup and say that I know as much about his former physical whereabouts as I do any of you out there in sitDiary land - in some cases, a vague (city or state) location, in most cases, nada. That makes detectiving a little more difficult. In other news, plans for the Great North American Invasion are not going well. 1. It seems out of 5 applicants in my unit, I was the only one to draw the proverbial short straw. In this case, though, the short straw is the good one and I get to go to the big conference in the ski-resort. The others... don't. This is not a good thing. 2. The even less good not-good thing (or even more not good, if you like) is that one of the unlucky 4 was in fact young Ms Claire, the object of my affection, still stuck out yonder in Canada, and completely off the radar in the last 6 weeks. 3. My mate Andrew, the poet, was supposed to be in San Diego the first week in April, whereupon I would join him on the first flight out of Denver and we would drive to Mexico and then head north to Los Angeles, with absolutely no intention of being "discovered" and becoming the next Matt and Ben in Hollywood. His trip looks unlikely now; his office wants to rather send him in either early March or early June. Not good. 3b. That, and he actually wants to bail on SoCal and head to New York for his 2nd time, so he is trying to get them to send him to their offices there instead anyway. I need to be in SoCal and now will be obliged to make the trip on my lonesome, unless I pick up any street urchins/runaways/mass murderers hitch-hiking along the way. 4. My mate Ryan, my home-away-from-home in Noo Yawk, may well be away on business in the week I was anticipating being in Noo Yawk. Is this thing jinxed or what? More as it happens... -d-

I have no idea on how to locate a person on the internet. I tried to locate my half sister last year and exhausted all means and I know almost all her stats. It sucks.

As far as your trip, I'm sure it will go well. Just as long as you don't end up on an episode of Unsolved Mysteries. Picking up hitchhikers and or runaways always ends up that way. I fixed the grammatical error, thanks for pointing it out.
