Holy crap

I saw Jasmine today. I was sitting with Chryssa outside Charcoal Chicken, basically bitching about everyone we know (well, not everyone, the crap people) and all the randoms that walked past. I don't usually bitch to this extent, but Chryssa and I, oh, the lengths we can go to. ANYWAY somehow we got to talking about weird groups in school, and how I saw some people today that I had never seen in my life, yet they were only in the year level below (they had to be: there were only two levels at school today, and one had blue jumpers on). Chryssa said it was probably because they were some of the "weird unknowns" at our school. Then some Huntingtower kids started walking towards the chicken shop, and she said "Speaking of weird... some groups, you can just tell." And it's true, you could just tell. Disclaimer: Weird is good. I am weird. Extremely. But there was just something about this group that made me giggle... just the way that they were. I can't even describe it. It was an endearing quality really, although I don't think Chryssa would have described it as such. Anyway, there were three guys and two girls, one of them considerably shorter than the rest of the group. And as I looked at her again, I realised there was something familiar about this girl... ...and it was Jasmine. I got all excited and started pointing and shaking my hand in her general direction, whispering "IT'S JASMINE!" very excitedly to Chryssa. She wasn't very interested, as it was one of the "weirdo Huntingtower kids", but asked how I knew her. I told her about my softball playing, and how she was on my team, and this made her choke on her food because she was laughing at me so hard. "What?!" "YOU PLAYED SOFTBALL!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" I didn't end up speaking to her, because I was a little freaked out by her friends, but it's odd... so many people that I used to know go to Huntingtower, yet I never even knew the school existed until last year. Even though it is practically next to my school, with only a train line dividing us... The fact that I never noticed it caused me to take an interest in this hidden school in the past year, and from various accounts it is a weird place, following some "cult religion" or something, where there is no medical aid given to students if they hurt themselves. Someone said it was Scientology, but others say it is something more obscure. It really freaks me out. How come I didn't know there was a school there? I then made a comment about all the year 12's being out and about for some reason, from all the various schools in the area. Chryssa just cracked up laughing. "Because they had the GAT, you freaking moron." Haha, I can be stupid sometimes. [1 hour and 10 minutes until Gilmore Girls comes on. Excitement!]
