Sophie was upset with us because we were lazy and slow at work today. Not only upset, angry too. Damn! =[ It was a really good day for me too; I got an extra shift at work, I was getting over my flu, Nicole and I had free coffee at Melbourne Central (crap coffee but STILL free) and I bought a badge from Lenko Boutique, WHERE might I add they were playing Klaxons. LOVE LOVE LOVE! So annoyed that I missed the Klaxons play, PS. Also, big news, I actually got a nametag. SCORE MUCH?! I was so excited that I jumped up and down and squealed, to the amusement of Marcia and my boss. And I don't know what Van was doing because I pretty much ignored her, but I think she was smiling. Yay =] Okay so not such a shitty day I guess. I just hope Sophie isn't too upset when she comes in to visit tomorrow morning. Also, I have an essay due on Friday, and I have to do it in about 5 hours tomorrow. 5 weeks of supposed work in five hours, I haven't even started yet!! At least it's only 700 words. And I chose a Picasso, so hopefully I can wing it based on mostly general knowledge and last semester's lecture notes (when I actually attended the lectures. Shame). So my plan is to work tomorrow morning till 2, hit the gallery straight away then drop by Caulfield library to borrow some books. Oh, I always make it so hard for myself. I think I might go listen to Klaxons and paint something, that'll cheer me up. Oh, also today while I was in Lenko, I decided to make a pinata (I don't know how to get the thingy on the n) for Tess for her birthday. I don't know quite why, or how for that matter, it just felt appropriate. Hoorah! Actually I should sleep since I have to be up at 5... Toodles
