i'm going to list my top five bands/groups/singers and tell you why I love them and one thing I don't like soo much about them. feel free to do the same in your diary and i'll go check it out =)
Green Day
♥ because they're not sellouts. NO ONE IS.
♥ because Billie Joe has the voice of an angel.
♥ because Billie Joe will write about anything he pleases and doesn't care what other people think.
♥ because they're not afraid to be different.. unlike all those other 'pop punk' bands.
♥ because their music is just awesome.
♥ because Tre is a crazy bastard.
♥ because Billie Joe is not just hott, he is beautiful (or gorgeous, if you don't think a man should be called beautiful) in every way (even his teeth).
♥ because they are truly the only thing that can make me happy when i'm desperately upset.
♥ becase I could care less about politics.
The Click Five
♥ because Eric Dill is my future husband.
♥ because their music is fun.
♥ because they actually pay attention to their fans and meet them after every show.
♥ because they're all sexy (besides maybe the guitarist).
♥ because I got to see them in concert.
♥ because I got to meet them & get photos with them!
♥ because they don't write all of their songs.
The Used
♥ because they're angsty & sometimes, you just need that.
♥ because Bert can scream and make it sound good.
♥ because they're actually good in concert opposed to some bands.. (cough, MCR)
♥ because their music helped me at a time when I needed it.
♥ because Bert is a crazy dirty grease monkey who never washes his hair.
♥ because they don't seem to care about their fans as much as they should.
Kelly Clarkson
♥ because she's an amazing singer
♥ because she's real, and not a diva.
♥ because she made it through actual talent.
♥ because she worked hard for what she got.
♥ because she rightfully won American Idol.
♥ because she doesn't need to try hard at all.
♥ because of some things she wears.
Fall Out Boy
♥ because they're funny
♥ because they think they're hott shit, and they really aren't.
♥ because almost every song has a line about 'going to bed' with someone.
♥ because they're sarcastic.
♥ because they address everything anyone could go through or has.
♥ because they're one of those bands that pracitcally all of their songs are about relationships.
and that's it =) they're not all what you would call 'monumental' bands/groups/singers, but they're who I like right now. I could go on forever why I love Green Day but I had to step it down.
