I settled down next to him, and recalled the events of the past few hours happily. everything that had happened had been so perfect, I wasn't sure wether it had really happened, or if I had been dreaming... I looked at the ring on my finger, and at Nathan, who was now sleeping, and smiled happily. As amazing as it all was, it seemed to be true. Nathan and I were going to be together forever...officially. Nothing could ever take him away from me now... I snuggled in next to him, and fell asleep with a smile on my face. He got up slowly and shuffled over to the dresser which his phone was laying on top of. "Hello? No, It's Santa Clause... Of course it's me." He said, rolling his eyes. "Who else would it be?" There was a long pause, and Nathan's face grew serious. "What? Now?...Ok, I'll be there in just a few minutes." He flipped the top of his phone shut and turned to me, looking very anxious. "Haley's in labor." I smiled. "Really? That's awesome!" "Yeah..." He looked a bit shaken. I hugged him. "Nathan, you're going to be a father! You've been waiting for this ever since you found out!" "Yeah... I-I guess I have." He smiled slightly and hugged me back. "Thanks Lils." I smiled back at him. "No problem." "Hey, I have to go get her." "Hey, you do." I said with a slight laugh. "So are you gonna meet me there then?" "Yeah, I'll take my car, I'm not ready and you need to go." "Ok." He kissed my forehead and turned towards the door. "I'll see you later." "Wait." I grabbed his arm. Something wasn't right. "What?" I pulled him to me and hugged him tightly. "I love you, Nathan." He put his hand under my chin and brought my face up until I was looking up at him. Then he kissed me. "I love you too, Lily." Now everything was right. I held onto him for a few more minutes, then, I let him go. He kissed me again and turned towards the door. "I love you, see you when you get there." "Love you too."
