Listening to: Heart It Races - Architecture In Helsinki
My feet smell. And I just found out from my cousin that it doesn't really matter that I'm not going to finish my antibiotics. Also, I'm drinking juice.
I totally went blank for a second there and forgot how to spell juice!!
So work was way harder than I thought on Sunday. I was doubled over in pain almost the entire day, and nausea kept creeping over me. It didn't help that it was about 40 degrees calcius in front of the fryers, so they had me out on tables where the gentle rocking motion of the table wiping for some reason settled me. But four and a half hours into the shift [half an hour left! so close!] I finally gave in, and my boss sent me to sit in the freezer for a while. It was bliss.
But I got my 80 bucks; that's allllll I was after. And I'm still not spending money! Yes, I bought more sunglasses today, but they were awesome. And they didn't cost that much.
[Facebook is MAKING ME ANGRY]
But that brings me back to something I have said many times before: I cannot spend time on my own! Today, a day off. A day where I can stay at home, relax, do absolutely ANYTHING I want. And it's barely 1pm before I am on the computer, desperately trying to find someone to make plans with. Which is why I ended up buying sunglasses and running into Mary Roberts at Subway and laughing my head off at Nichelle's little sister bursting into tears because she got her handbag stuck to her head. Ahahahahahaha. It was funny, alright! The misfortune of children is amusing!!
C'mon. Y'all watch Funniest Home Videos.
Anyway. At one point we walked past a gaming and figurine store. I tugged on Megan's sleeve. "I want to go into the neeeeerrrrddd stoooooooreee." So she waited outside ["because she didn't want to bring her drink in" pfft] and Nichelle and I went in. The store was empty except for the guy at the counter, who was staring at us in confusion the entire time. We left pretty soon after that though. It wasn't as interesting as I had hoped, surprise surprise! But we cracked up laughing at the guy, who was obviously a bit weirded out to see two girls coming into the store. Oh how I love the nerd store.
We watched Sex and the City and went to the library and I borrowed pointless non-fiction books including one that is just a book filled with page after page of colour. And I got my vodka back, hoorah!
But it worries me when I feel like I'm wasting a day when I spend it alone. I really need to start taking more time off, to do nothing. I'm always too busy...
Meh. c'est la vie.
Happy two years, SitDiary. It's been a pleasure knowing you.
