Rob's dad is dead.
Fuck me.
I decided to leave the last entry, what I was going to say was that Jelzy came with me to uni and Spiros not only let me have another week for my assignment (slack!!) but spent 10 straight minutes laughing at himself, telling us not to tell Luke that he hadn't covered any of the material (and that we could just Wikipedia Bauhaus) and going completely off topic to discuss the reason he had to leave early, to see an exhibition at VCA. I forgot what it was! I wrote it down, but I missed it because I didn't wake up till 11am on Saturday anyway. Also, when Marisa came into the tute holding a milkcrate with a pillow in it, before seating herself on the floor up against the wall, that set him off as well. Oh Spiros. You're my idol.
When we were leaving Caulfield, we were behind Marisa and Lauren, and Angelica was like "Oh, she's eclectic. She's a lesbian." It made me laugh. Then we met up with Jussy and had dinner at a Japanese restaurant in Melbourne Central, where I couldn't use the chopsticks. "Excuse me! I'm white! I need a fork!"
Yesterday night was good: I can do it in list form. [This was after I was less angry with Simon and less upset about Robertina's father... the poor poor boy. I haven't told my fucking father yet, and I don't think I will. He doesn't deserve to know, the way he treats that family. I was that close to tears I couldn't work properly.]
-Met up with Gabble and Jack [her gay best friend from Shepparton] outside my work
-Went to Cotton On to get her a jacket because she was "cold" and they were playing Mexican radio
-Had dumplings! ♥ [Once again couldn't use the chopsticks and Jack was like "OH MY GOD! JUST USE THE SPOON!"]
-Convinced Gabble to go to Nando's, the whole reason we were meeting up in the first place as she had never ever had it in her life!
-Sarski came to meet us. Seriously large chips, Jack's excuses about carbon emissions and driving to KFC.
-Went to QV toilets so I could get changed [Gabble + Jack had departed] then went to Section 8. My vodka sunrise was so good, I almost cried. THE BEST RASPBERRY CORDIAL EVER
-Walked to Madame Brussels, but both of us were so wound up by the ale that we'd had that we could barely breathe. We gave each other updats on our burping, um, yes.
-Absinthe! Le fée Parisian. Nice, but nicer with cigarettes. Pink matches and cashews! Then the 36 year old Flinders St resident who joined us, who was slightly put off after realising that he was talking to two 19 year olds. He gave me lessons on how to smoke. "We're from the suburbs!!"
-Beautiful toilets!
-Skipped merrily down Bourke St whilst linking arms and joyfully discussing the one extra sock in Sarah's bag.
-Went to Strike and had two games. By the end we had accrued our own cheersquad! That was fun. But we declined their offer to go play pool. I don't know about Sarah, but I wasn't that interested; I suspected that they were late 20's - early 30's. Little too old, for me anyway.
-St Jerome's was closed, so we went to the Rooftop Cinema building, to some bar on the third floor. The mood lighting pissed us off! We had mellow Kahlua and Cokes, which were very well made I must say. We kept putting out the candle and eventually stole it. Discussions in French and a Spiros false-sighting [I was actually hopeful, Sarah was less-so]
-Up to the 6th floor, the roof! Chose the highest point and sat on two outdoor sunbathing type chairs, despite it being 3am and freezing. Beautiful view, the most relaxing ever, the last cigarette. There till closing. The stole paper off the wall-newspaper, you know, those ones that are all around Melbourne?
-Taxi home, end.
