[856] our home and native land

Listening to: Alone - Glee
Feeling: eager

I'm not really the most patriotic person, but I love the Olympics, and I love the winter Olympics and I love that they're on home soil. We're going to win hockey, of course, how could we not? But that doesn't really make it less exciting.

One of the best moments of my life was listening to the game on the radio. Canada scored. My dad honked the horn, and rolled down the window, and everyone else was honking too. Flags on every car.

I can go to a bar now and watch it, with other people. I like those kinds of experiences, I think they're fun.

Around the world in 80 days.

I'm excited. Four countries, sixteen days, a taste of freedom once again.

I get to do things that most people can't even dream of. I don't care if I never go to University, this existence is enough for me.

I'm getting a raise at work. That was nice of them to do.

Today was the longest week, and I still have to work tomorrow, but that's alright.

I like posting. I like posting fast. I do not like it when everyone I RP with on all my sites is gone, then I get bored, and when I get bored, my imagination goes wild. Someday, I will run out of places to play on, and I will write a book and it will be readable if not awesome.

I like being called mature for my age. I really think I am. I think my job has let me grow in ways I didn't ever think possible, and assume responsibilities that I like. I got to plan the whole skating party, I think that was fun. And I did it well, which was even better.

I still have places to post, and now I have threads to catch up on.

I have a life. And a social life. And it's kind of really nice.

I could almost let go.
