soo today i got an mri test... it was a little weird...you first put on the special little cloth booties and the scrub things and the weird gown and the hair cap annnnd then they ask u what radio station you want...and then u go into this room with the machine in it, and u lay down on this narrow yet comfortable bed type thing, with your head on like this little tray...then they cover u with a blanket, put a towel over your eye, headphones on your ears and thenyour little bed gets up and starts moving back (pretty fun actually..could be made into a cool ride)and then u start hearing the radio thru the headphones, the guy who is operating the mri (his name was joel) tells u the first session is going to be about a minute long, and then it starts. that thing is LOUD! it sounds like ur right next to an airplane about to take off. and it will go in sessions like well its not a beep sound but thats the only sound i can think of the patter it goes in it would be something like bbbbbbeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep beep beep beep beep beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep beep beep beep beep beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep beep beep beep beep over and over again until that session was done. i had like 3 sessions of 5 minutes, like 2 of 1 minute, 1 of 2 minutes and like 1 of 30 seconds i wa sprobalby in the machine a total of 30 min. the thing is u can not MOVE at all. and i have a cough so that was great. it was an unusual experience but nonetheless interesting and i feel my life a bit more fufilled in it. hopefully i will never do it again. now time to study for chemistry since i SUCK in it
