every second stone is holy

so i'm in israel! i love it my program is fun, i'm on the free weekend at my g-parents house. the people are great i was supposed to be at a party right now, but things didn't work out exactly how i'd get home and david isn't answering his phone or being at home so his loss for not talking ot me i saw my parents today for the first time in a month, i miss them yea the d.c. trip was awesome (schoof!) mechina was fun too , problem is i forgot a lot of the people i met or what they look like (meeting too many people in little amount of time) manhattan was a blast, but i'm getting a little tired of always moving around (i haven't stayed in one spot for more than 5 days) but i've got another month of it so good times. there's a saying in hebrew about israel that every second stone is holy, and it sounds right, this countryis just so old and full of history. the city in tel aviv, jaffa, is over 4,000 years old. there are random excavation sites around the city, that you can just walk in. my bat mitzvah was there, at an old bath house that napoleon would go to. well i'm tired, going back to the group tomorrow an di'm not done repacking. gonna try ringing davie again and then sleep safe summer

wow, israel is gorgeous. oh, minor correction, the country itself isn't old, it was formed after america decided to play god and make new countries after world war II, but the cities and towns are ancient, the history is rich and gorgeous. enjoy your stay.
