NaNoWriMo

Nano is moving fast! I, however, am moving very slow. It is already nearing the end of week two and I still haven't broken into the 10,000 + category yet. Oh, how I sadden myself. I may not win the Nano competition but I WILL! finish this novel. It's the first one I've ever attempted to write completely on my own without Maggie or Jess or Bridget's help and I'm feeling surprisingly confident that it is going to be good. If I can write 10,000 a month, figure I'll have that for November at least. Do that till next August and I'll have 100,000 words worth of a story to edit and revise. Enough for a really good length novel. Come next January I could be sending off my first baby to a publishing house to be accepted. *wink* Rejection is not an option. As for all the co-authored stories I've started along the way that are kinda sitting around waiting to be finished? Well, maybe one day we'll all decide what their fate will be. Finish them, submit them, movie-ize them, or burn them. I don't know, but until then, they remain safe. Notes all in a pile, disks safely kept. Characters sleeping and dreaming of a finished product. Sleep well dear characters and dear friends, I pray one day we will all wake to our happily-ever-after.
