Thanksgiving was a bust. It had everything I expected and more. Including a cold i didn't want to catch. On a plus note, today I got to go to dinner and see Rent with Chad and Bridget. It was ok. There were a few parts of the movie I didn't think they did good....ok there was one spot and I'm afraid it nearly killed me to watch it. Yes ladies and gentlemen - it was in fact the Mimi death scene. I'm sorry folks but she just didn't cut it. Angel died beautifully and in fact so did Mimi, but when she came back to life I wanted to wack her with a stick until she fell unconcious and make her do it over. It was just too...jack in the box. One min she's dead the next she's sitting upright. I saw Rent as a play, granted it wasn't on broadway, but the scene was substantially better. Sorry Mimi - until you learn to do it right, stay dead.
