TSO – Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

My life, my love, and perhaps my new obsession. I saw them in concert today. I'm afraid I don’t have much to say on the subject that isn’t a complaint. I was sick as a dog – I tried to beg off going but was guilted into it by my father. I didn’t eat before the concert because of a sore throat so I was semi light headed. The seats were close to the stage, so close in fact that I could see all the beautiful men performing. To see and not be allowed to touch – so sad, close to torture. Yet, we weren’t close enough to catch the guitar picks or drum sticks when they threw them into the crowd after the final song. The killing blow of the entire show though – I couldn’t scream or whistle when applauding because of my cold. I tried and wound up almost giving myself an asthma attack. (Apparently I have cold related asthma. That's what the mother says at least.) I was reduced to clapping alone. * tear* To be honest – the show was amazing even if I did cough during most of it and nearly fell asleep during the one song – it was soft and sweet! It wasn’t my fault! They played some songs off a new non-Christmas record not out yet that were absolutely amazing. The one was a new take on O Fortuna (I knew it and started muttering the words along and my parents were like O.o how do you know the song. I explained and my mother spent the rest of the night trying to tell me I was saying the name wrong.). I really can’t wait for it to come out. Anyway, the show was amazing. I'm planning on getting closer seats next time they’re near by. I have a guitar pick from a Meatloaf concert I went to and I do believe I need one from TSO as well . Music makes me happy.
