hey heres the main story of pere cheny I wanted to tell you about a haunted cemetary in Michigan, called Pere Cheney. I have had alot of "wierd" experiances out there, and I want to see what you guys think. Anyways, the story is that Pere Cheney was a logging town in Northern Michigan. Its located by Grayling, and right next to railroad tracks. Anyhow, the town almost died out due to an epidemic (some think small poxs, others say plaque, its iffy...) but most of the town died. One women was run over by the passing train, another froze to death, another buried alive in an alley, and alot of children under a year (more like a month) also died. After all the deaths, the town and the rest of the occupants died in a fire. The town was rebuilt again, only to be sacrificed by another fire that killed its occupants again. They were all buried in nearby Pere Cheney cemetary. There are alot of mass family graves there of people that died together of the illness, and a few spread out here and there. It is said that over 250 people are buried there, but today only about 13 graves are left (due to vandalism etc..). thats wierd both times it was burned and everyone died...a couple stories i read mentioned that it was built on indian buriel grounds and it was cursed...ill pst a pic i took later it is creepy
