Listening to: Love You Madly - Cake
Feeling: slothful
nifty little site to look up if you're bored with the radio and iTunes, emusic.com. they have every genre i can image, and twice as many that i can't. anyway. i stumbled over Rasputina there, think a cello quartet with heavy guitars. it's all independant stuff, so you can find the pixies and everything bush.
some of my favorite groups i've stumbled over in like, fye. Burning Brides just put out their second album (that i know of) and they bridge nirvana's pop grunge with the overly angsty party metal that's smothering the radio right now (seether anyone?)... this wasn't what i got on to write about. don't remember at all what now.
started reading another diary online. it's nice in one way b/c she's cheery and upbeat and isn't like, solid brooding. i mean, i figure most of the brooders are like me, using this thing to dump all the crap i don't want bothering me during the day.
i despise being lonely. i need a buddy, i've had an inseparable friend at different points in my life, i really need one now. lol, admittedly, i have a history of falling in love with them, but then that's really what i want from my soulmate. i want to know her intuitively by the time we get married. i've always figured i'd marry my best friend. so far, only one has felt anything along the lines that i have (thanks j*) but here i am again, alone. that's not supposed to sound as miserable and whiney as it does.
