Listening to: A Feelin\' Like That - Gary Allan
Feeling: spontaneous
So I managed to find a group to hang out with last night. Katie J. found me practicing at about 18:30 and suggested I come with her to the religion/philosophy speaker on campus. I said sure, and we went to go pick up our "Orphan" shirts at IV for next week, and we managed to convince Savi to come with us too. On our way there we found Kimberly and Emily and they followed us as well. So we ended up with a group of five. I had this moment of secret glee at the power I have. Before I left IV, this wouldn't have happened.
The speaker was okay. He was an atheist, and he was interesting at the beginning but he got boring rather quickly. Maybe my attention span is just too short for that kind of thing. It finished up at about 21:00 and we didn't really want to go our separate ways, so after much discussion, we instead elected to go to B-dubs, which was a lot of fun. Lots of inappropriate comments from Emily and me, Savi ate a lot of food, and Katie and Kimberly were just generally cute and entertaining.
We stopped at Wal-Mart to get milk for Kimberly afterwards, which was more of the same. An all-around good time. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to stay up so late when I'm trying to get over being sick, but oh well. It was more fun than sleeping.
I didn't get a chance to call Neil back, but he sent me another sweet email, saying he hoped I had a good time with my friends. Oh how I love that boy.
Today was very eventful. My music history prof came in with a tissue pressed to his nose and said he had cut himself shaving over an hour ago and it hadn't stopped yet. So we just took our listening quiz and left forty minutes early. Then at work my boss told me to take two extra zones, so I did and it was one thing after another, busy busy busy. It was so exciting. I love my job!
I'm going home in about two hours. I've been looking forward to this all week. I have some homework, but I have some fun stuff planned as well. Hopefully I have time to do it all!
