I think I'm starting to get happy again without knowing it, because I'm listening to country music again. :) That's encouraging.
So the first day of finals is upon us. I didn't have any exams today. I worked for three hours, though. It was a rather boring shift today. Not as bad as it could have been, but boring enough. I did locate Dr. Rodgers' car and put an empty envelope on it, complete with the first two bars of Shostakovich and a message telling him to keep in touch over the summer.
I met Juwon in the CSU and bought his urban studies textbook off him for next fall. I'm barely thinking about this summer yet, and already I've managed to acquire two textbooks for next year. Go figure.
I went to the dental clinic on campus at 14:00 to get my teeth cleaned. Fun fun. Actually, I kind of enjoy going to the dentist. I'm not even sure why. Maybe it's the feeling of having cleaner, whiter teeth. That's definitely an advantage.
I studied outside in the gorgeous sunshine for about an hour and a half, then couldn't stand it anymore. I had MSO rehearsal at 19:00. Yay! The cello soloist was there today. Christa has a "huge-ass crush" on him because he's so amazingly talented. I thought of that Facebook group, "I am sexually attracted to talent" when she said that. And Andrew's "adj.-ass noun" joke, where you move the hyphen to the right of "ass" instead. I know, very wrong, very wrong. :)
I'm super sore now, but at least I stayed for the entire rehearsal. I wish I could take some Aleve, but I'm still on Sudafed for my cold. Dammit. I should go to bed soon; I have that Victims final tomorrow and I still need to finish studying in the morning. Then it's on to astronomy. Yay . . . not. I probably won't even study for pop music on Thursday; I'll just glance through the book and my notes. It's still kinda hard to believe this semester is almost over.
