Well, LTC won the battle. Needless to say, I was disappointed, though word on the street was that they only beat Cleansing Fire by, like, five points. But hey, they were first runners up, so if anything should happen to LTC between now and BBQ Fest ... ~*gets that evil, scheming look in her eye*~ I just feel like they were robbed, you know? So, yeah, as Seth stated in his journal, today is my birthday as well. We're twins. Huzzah. Wait, no, we're Taurus people, not Gemini people ... ... little ... astrological humor ... there ... yeah. So I've just spent my day off hanging out with Brandon at the station. He took me out to lunch for a buffet at Pizza Hut. It's hard to find a place that's veggie-friendly and yet also on that special coupon thing that he got for 10 bucks from some chick's daughter's fundraiser thingy. I like him. He's cool. Maybe too cool. His coolness might get him fired someday. God, I hope not. It's like a breath of fresh air when he's around. Plus, he does a very good Hank Hill/Boomhauer impression. He's amazingly talented in the voice department - and he's really funny, too. Don't know why he's working a radio station, though. He could do cartoons. Unfortunately, he doesn't like the sound of his own voice. I like it, though. I think he's awesome. ~*Sits there and watches Brandons head swell up as he reads this*~ So, yeah, I got to scream on this promo that he's doing for the Papa Roach Tickets Contest thing - they're coming to town to promote their new Album "Getting Away with Murder." And the ideal of the contest is for people to call in to the "Rock line" ... ~*snicker snicker*~ ... and tell the things that they've gotten away with. So ... how about it, people? What have you gotten away with? My dad and some friends, when they were in high school, got away with taking their coach's car and lifting it onto the school's front porch.
