Hello all. I am so bored. My family and I are at the Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island. My dad brought his laptop, so I've been on it all day, while it's too hot to walk around downtown and all the little kids are in the pool. I met Danielle yesterday. She's driving a taxi around from 9:00 in the morning to 10:30/11:00 at night. I rode up to the barns with her and met the night barn guys who help her unhitch the horses. I love it there, it smells like horses and hay and oats. The draft horses are so calm and easygoing, the only thing I'm afraid of is getting my foot stepped on by accident, their feet are like dinner plates!! I would love to work up here, maybe I can next summer. We have to get dressed up every night...guys in suits and women in either dresses or pantsuits. So...I have three dresses, the only ones I've worn since prom lol. I don't like them. Oh well, I only wear them for 2-3 hours and then it's jeans and a shirt to go out and hang with Danielle. Yay! I can't wait to be home though. I want to sleep in my bed, use my shower, have my computer back, etc. I come home Saturday, but I don't know when. I want to have a movie night sometime soon...later this week, when I get my work schedule. It won't be Monday, that's all I know. I'll call/email/post here when it is - everyone is invited. :) Later!
