There are only five days left of summer...I'm sad but happy at the same time. Plus, it means I have 5 days to do my AP Eng - who's with me? Maybe tomorrow, after I finish cleaning my room I'll sit and read the Great Gatsby - shouldn't take me longer than an hour. My family reunion is Saturday at my house. I hate it being here because it means that we have to clean everything before everyone comes and then we have to clean everything after everyone leaves! But I do like not having to travel. OH well. Basically all I have left is my room, in case Aunt Karen stays over night, because Aunt Isabel is staying in the guest room and Aunt Maggie in Megan's. It's probably for the best, it's getting pretty bad, I don't remember the color of my carpet lol. I'm excited though, this reunion is the super fun one out of the three we have every year. All my relatives are great and at night they sit around the bonfire till like 3AM, super drunk and telling stupid jokes. It's so great. My mom said Dan could come too, so yay! By the way Dan, expect my cousins to tease you, they're stupid like that lol, but what family isn't? Anyways....I hope it doens't rain. Last night was fun - Sam, Dan, and Steve came over and Sam brought "The Last Unicorn" to watch. The movie's good, but no where near as good as the book....which I need to get a copy of by the way lol. Steve and Dan were making fun of it non-stop, it got a little annoying after awhile, I mean, yeah, it's a cheesy kids' movie, but if you pay attention to the words they can be really funny or profound, or just true. Then we went to DQ for food and ice cream, which Dan got all over himself - way to go. Steve had to leave early, he had school today - HAHAHA!! Oh well, he'll just laugh at me next summer when he graduates a week before me. BACK to the story - we watched "The Labyrinth" when we got back, Sam and I had seen it, but Dan hadn't, but I don't think he liked it. I think it's funny, and I love Sir Didimous, he's so cute. But David Bowie's pants.....oh man, WAY WAY too tight lol, we all agreed. Work had been SO long lately - I've worked two 9 hour days in a row. My feet hurt so much, and my back, from lifting all the heavy shit. Tomorrow's my last day of the week though, and it's only a 5-10 shift - yay! It's been really slow, I've had time to get the whole list of night things done and still have a lot of time. Which is good. Cross country is....well, not that great, but whatever lol. Autumn and I got lost last time (Monday) because we missed the turn on the 3.8 mile and ran the 6 mile. Way to go team - making usre everyone knew where to go...actually, way to go Cat and Hofer, our captain and coach. I have 7 blisters on my left foot from my brace: on the left, right, front, and back of my ankle, the bottom of my foot I have two, and I have one on the top of my foot from flip flops, but still, seven is too many. Holy shit, another long one - I think this is my signature style, like Carla's is updating every two hours, mine is putting it off till I have a million things to say. Over and out.
