Changes

I wanted to know how Ken did on his test today, so I called him. He didn't answer, I left a message, and he called me back right away. He doesn't think he did so great, but he won't find out until Friday, and he can retake the test on Monday. Then Wednesday he's headed home. Which is far away. He looked up directions to my town today, and was joking around about maybe making a pit stop here before heading to West Virginia. He is too cute. During class, he looks at my yahoo profile picture and it improves his day. Aww! It would figure, I meet a sweet guy and he lives in another state. Oh well, you can never have too many friends. Work is crazy. The afternoon supervisor at my preschool has been out on maternity leave, so I've been filling in. Well, she's not coming back. So I've been promoted. An extra $1 an hour, and a title, and less work. Our Jesus Time teacher was out on leave for a hysterectomy, and she will not be coming back due to family issues. So now we have to replace her too. And while the toddler teacher is out on her maternity leave, I will be the toddler teacher. They hired someone else to cover for my old aide job, now they have to move someone up to my supervisor spot temporarily, and find a permanent Jesus Time teacher. Stress galore. Thank God for well-adjusted children, I don't think they'll give us too many extra problems. I hope.

Congrats on your promotion! That's awesome. It's always nice to be rewarded for your hard work with a nice raise and more perks. Good job.

Have a great day.
