I'm so lucky

I started teaching the toddler class today. I was nervous, thinking it would be really stressful the first day, but they were wonderful! All 15 of them sat in their chairs and listened, none of them cried, they all picked up their toys! After work, I went to the bank because it was payday, yay! Then Mom and I grabbed lunch at Subway. I studied a little after lunch for my Govt. exam tomorrow, then went to take a nap. I was just falling asleep when my boss called and said there were flowers for me at work! I go there and there were 6 perfect red roses in a beautiful arrangement. I read the card, and it said "Hot 4 Teacher! Your Roughneck". Not only is he sweet, but cute to boot! His work schedule is changing today, so I was bummed that I wasn't going to get to talk to him tonight, and that made it all better! I got online after class tonight to send him a thank-you e-mail, and he got online! He was only on for a few minutes, but I was so happy! It's midnight now, and he has to get up at 4:30, so I was shocked that he got on at all. He hasn't been able to get on the past couple of days, so he was checking his e-mail tonight. The bright side to him not being able to get online: I've gotten to talk to him on the phone! Only one week left and he'll be home. And this week should go by quickly for me. Test tomorrow, Grama's birthday Thursday, friend stuff this weekend, concert Monday, then he'll be heading home Tuesday! I think Gerd's good for me. Everything's going so well now. It's not all him, I know, but the improvement in my study habits and such is thanks to him. My night class is Texas History, and I usually just kind of scoot by. I take notes and try to stay awake. Gerd is a big Texas History buff, loves to talk about it and read about it. So now, I write down everything the professor says, ask questions, really pay attention so that I can hold my own in a conversation with Gerd. He makes me want to be more studious....goodness gracious, that never happens! I dyed my hair again, I'll try to get a pic up soon. It's "Apricot", kind of strawberry blonde. It's all one color again, yay! And not an outrageous color this time, haha, it looks natural! Okay, I'm done rambling now. Time to dream about my baby!
