Beautiful night

Okay, so maybe it wasn't "beautiful" because it rained like crazy and we got all wet, but it was wonderful. After Gerd got home from work, we went to The Woodlands mall and walked around. He used to spend hours there by himself, just shopping and people-watching, so it really meant alot to me that he took me there. I could blow so much money in that place! But I was good tonight. After that, we went to a sports-bar/grille type place (Think Hooters with more food and the girls wear blue-jean shorts). It was really neat. He got like a million (well, only 5) pounds of crawfish and a couple pitchers of beer. Now, anyone that knows me knows I don't eat seafood. At all. Not even if I was starving. But ya know what? He fed me a piece of crawfish, and I ate it! I ate a few, actually, and after sitting there for like an hour, I got the cajones to peel my own! I'm so proud of me! Gerd's really good for me, he's helped me come out of my shell alot. Then we went to this little cafe where they have karaoke on Tuesday nights. Reminds me of the pub back home, it was really cool. Most of the people there remember Gerd from when he was there last week. He sang a couple of songs and impressed everyone. I love when he sings. To quote Darla, the little Rascal, "When he sings to me, his voice makes me melt like a popsicle on the forf of July". What a wonderful night. What a wonderful guy.
