One day down, 13 to go

Feeling: deserted
My honey started back to work today, I hope it went well. I had a test today in Texas History, and I think I did alright. It was all fresh on my mind. I miss my Gerd. He's only been away from me for 2 days now, but I was with him almost non-stop for two weeks. Here's the highlights of our wonderful time together: Tuesday, he showed up at my house to surprise me. Wednesday, we spent the day at his place. Thursday, I made supper and he stayed with me all night. Friday, we went to the Pat Green concert. Saturday, Nancy's wedding, met up with his friends, went to a club. Sunday, hung out with his brother, met up with my best friend, he stayed the night with me again. Monday, my little brother set up a football game and invited Gerd. Then we sat at my house and talked most of the night. Tuesday, I went to Gerd's again, and he made a wonderful supper for me and the roomies. Chicken Parmesan on whole-wheat pasta with Finnish Flatbread. I'm definitely keeping him around, he can cook for me forever ;) Wednesday I didn't see him because he was preparing for his job interview the next day. Thursday was his interview, he'll find out in a few weeks if he got it or not. It sounds like he will, they said very positive things. That night, he wanted to unwind, so Gerd, his 2 roommates, and I went to a club to meet up with my friends and sing karaoke. He sings so beautifully! He did lose points, however, for singing "Baby Got Back" and announcing that it was especially for me. You're still in big trouble mister! Friday we went to see Roger Creager at Gruene Hall. Awesome show!!! We stood right by the stage, directly in front of the guitar player. The 3 of us had so much fun, it was a wonderful night. Until the part where I threw up, uck. Sadly, I can no longer say that I've never been drunk. I think it was a combination of drinking the few smirnoffs too quickly, getting overheated, and not eating before we started drinking. Yeah, we forgot to eat, we were in such a rush to get there. I was so embarrassed! Katie was a wonderful help, she took great care of me. And both people reassured me that it's nothing to be embarrassed about, almost everyone there had been through it before. I definitely won't get like that again, it's a terrible feeling. Oddly enough, I wasn't hung over the next morning. We left the hotel at 11, then went to Katie's in Austin. She took us to the Texas Music Cafe for lunch, it was really good. Then we hung out and walked around for a little while. That evening, we headed back to Gerd's. We were supposed to meet up with my friends at the pub, but when we got all the way out there, they weren't there. Grr, they suck. So we went all the way back, it was a emotional night. The next day we went to Katy Mills mall, I got new boots! We hung out at his place for a little after we got back, and then he had to drop me off at my Daddy's work. It was so hard to say goodbye. His last hitch went by quickly, hopefully this one will too. I have a mission this time: (well, a few actually) 1)to get a little more in shape, workout a little. 2) to find the perfect birthday present for my sweetie. Wish me luck!

its funny to hear you talk about Katy Mills mall and stuff like, that. My grandparents used to live in Suger Land, and I used to go there to visit ALL THE TIME, so yeah I know where all the stuff you are talking about is, even if I am way up here in MN! I actually really miss TX. Glad to hear you're happy... those first moments of love with someone new are always so wonderful!! :) Sometimes I still get that feeling after 8 years together! :)
Better behave, I know what kind of fun you are without drinks, but with them, for shame.... glad you had a great time, but take it slow... remeber how it was when you jumped in head first with me... as stupid as it sounds, I don't want to see you get hurt again... Aaron
The last time I was in TX was Christmas 2004. My grandparents no longer live there, but I have an uncle in Dallas, a really good friend in Richmond, so friends in Houston (Cypress to be exact), and a really good friend in S. Padre. So yeah, I have some reasons to come back soon! I have been to ALOT of the beaches... I also took a weekend trip to Gruene and LOVED IT! Its such a neat little city!
Hey babe!! I hope you can stand years and years of good times! Cause that's what I have in store for you!

I love you!
