I Believe in Christ

Today is was a sad day. I witness the barrial of a 50 yr. old man. A man who lived in the Faith his entire life. A man who died before his parents or before his wife. Who left a wife thats 50 and several children. I saw a 12yr. old boy see his dads caskit closed, never to see him again till he reaches Heaven. I witness the tears of a 15 yr. old say good bye to his dad along side his brother. I saw a wife try so bravely not to cry, to say good bye and know that this wasn't the end. I saw the caskit close. This man was no ordanary man, this man survived the Lord faithly to the day he died. Although the doctors told him that he wouldn't survived a month he survived 9 months, to the shocked of the doctors. Although it was Gods will that he go. He was aloud to stay just a little longer, long enough to say good bye to his family and tell them his testimony to his family. He knew that this was gods will, I think that is how his family survived. Although there where many tears, there was also love there. This man loved the lord as served him. At a very young age he was a Bishop, then a stake President he served two missions. One as a young man the other as the Mission President with his family. At the funeral, we sang a song that hit my soul. The spirt was so strong in the room everyone was crying. The spirt was so strong, i can no longer even begin to dinie the Living Christ is real and was crusified for us. The gospel is true and i am greatful that i know. We sang a song at the Funeral that hit me hard. I Believe in Christ 1. I believe in Christ: he is my King! With all my heart to him I'll sing; I'll raise my voice in praise and joy, In grand amens my tongue employ. I believe in Christ; he is God's Son. On eart to Dwell his soul did come. He healed the sick; the deadhe raised. Good works were his; his name be praised. 2. I believe in Christ; oh, blessed name!as Mary's Son he came to reign 'Mid mortal men, his earthly kin, To save them from the woes of sin. I believe in Christ, who marked the path, Who did gain all his Father hath, Who said to men: "come, follow me, That ye, my friends with God may be. 3. I believe in Christ-my Lord, my God! my feet he plats on gospel sod. I'll worship himm with all my might; He is the source of truth and light. I believe in Christ; so come what may, With him i'll grasp he sets me free, And I shall live with joy and love In his eternal courts above. 4. I believe in Christ; he stands supreme! From him I'll gain my fondest dream; And while I strive through grief and pain, His voice is heard: "Ye shall obtain." I believe in Christ; so come what my, with him I'll stand in that great day When on this earth he comes again To rule among the sons of men. The words of that song hit me hard. The man that died that sunday at 1:oo, next to his family, of stomach cancer. He was my uncle. And the most riches(sp) person i have ever known. I thought that an expirence like this would hurt my faith, that i would be asking why, all it has done was made it stronger.

God works in mysterios ways...when you should be crying for the death of a righteous* man you are smiling and glad--which you should be- your uncle is home!!
In Philipians 1:21 it says for me to live is Christ to die is gain.
basically meaning while your uncle was living he did everything in God's will to pass along the good news of Christ and that death is soo much better!! your Uncle sounds like an awesome man!!
What's LSD?? or was it LDS? anyways what is it?? I am non denominational Christian
you put this html code into your preferences--it goes in the big empty box---it's kinda as big as the comment one

alert("Click okay before I steal a kiss!")
It's all that jibberish in my entry below--you cut and paste it all into the blank squarein your preferences--which hsould be toward the bottom of you screen.
