Background Freak Show

Today I was reminded of a drawing, or sketch really, that I once did that I titled Background Freak Show. In the center you see a lady with a big head, small body, and huge hands. She's standing on a circular platform in circus-esque scenery. In the background you see little circles, representing heads in the audience, all who are amused and excited to see such a bizarre thing. They're all there to see the live human oddities, thus putting together a show: The Background Freak Show. I was reminded of this drawing of mine because of this family I know that all seem to have something odd about them. Not a physical disease, but just something a bit out of the ordinary. My mom used to tell me about this friend of my brother's when he was a kid, who was apparently quite an oddball, just by the way he would act and the things he would do. Well I saw this guy at a gas station today for the first time that I know of. My mom explained to me that he, his brother, and sister were all in 'special' classes. Yet his father once said this, "You know why we're all so smart? 'Cause we eat peanut butter." Well I found out who this now twenty-something year old's mother is. She's this woman I saw in Wal-Mart once. An average looking older lady. And then you spot that hard to miss thing right below her nose...her moustache. Yes, a moustache. I'm not talking about fuzz. To those of you who know me personally, her moustache was around the same thickness of mine. I was rather surprised that she was his mom this whole time, and I didn't know. I went to Wal-Mart today, and kept seeing this hott guy walking around. He had beautiful hair, and he was dressed pretty nicely. Then I found out he is the son of a friend of my mom's. I was like "whoa, I so gotta hang out with this guy." But yeah, the second we locked eyes passed quickly, and I never even spoke to him. Well, I feel like lying down now, since I've gotten out of the shower. Then I might get up and watch some television. Yep. -HZOL DOG
