I road the Big Yellow Bus today...and I sat there thinking about how fast time goes by. I thought about the fact that my next-door neighbor rides the bus as well, yet she never dares to even say a word to me. So when searching for my house keys, I said hello. She replied,
"Hi"

It was a fake hello though...I don't know what it is she and others have against me..besides the fact that I keep to myself, most of the time. I like me...in fact, I may even love me. I know what you are thinking..you are wondering what it is that's making people dislike this girl.
Well, first there is the fact that I'm Muslim...and then there's being a quiet person, which makes others think I'm "stuck up." All I have to say is...just because I am who I am doesn't make it right for you to judge me. Yeah, and I don't blame anyone who does.
If you see some chick walking down the street or wherever...and then you hear the news/media talking shit about these people..and then you see this one girl who won't open up to people. You are forced to believe that she's whatever you heard.
You get me?

I really don't care what the hell anyone thinks of me. You don't know me, and will never know every little detail about me.
As for the people...who judge based upon what they hear. Pure Ignorance. That is what it is...
1st)pick up a book(not the Internet, a book) and READ. It doesn't matter whose are what way of life, or religion it is. You should always read for yourself.
2nd)Before you want to go and challenge someone, or say something against their way of life, you should totally read...get your facts straight.

Some people just don't realize how important it is to do so...and I don't want to sound like some nerd or anything, (which by the way, I shouldn't) but people constantly make themselves look like idiots..
So yeah, for me its like the 2nd thing I do when I want to know something. I always ask someone older than me, that I know may have the answer.
The reason I had to say this was, because..its very annoying to hear even adults make immature comments when they see a Hijabi girl walking by.
