“Soooo…You have finally left that hell hole huh?” said Anna from the top of the stairs. I laughed, it is a lot better here. I knew I would have a better life here. Anna took my bag up to the guest room. They had a really nice house. Anna’s parents died in a car accident a few years ago and with their life insurance Anna and her sister’s would never have to worry about money. “We can go out tomorrow and pick out a paint color, some new curtains and blankets for you. I can tell you will be here for a while.” Anna exclaimed. “Are you sure it is okay that I stay here, I mean it is kind of short notice” I asked. “ Of course Hilary you are like family to us and anyways my sisters absolutely adore you, come on its supper time. We can unpack later.” “ No I’m not that hungry, I’ll just unpack now,” I said. Anna walked downstairs. I got up and closed the door and looked around the room. It was very dull. It had grayish walls, navy curtains, with normal bedroom furniture. There was also a small TV and a c.d. player. I opened my bad and started putting my clothes in the dresser. I got out my makeup and a few pictures and placed them on the top. I was so happy to be out of my parents’ house. I can’t stand them. I also grabbed the posters that were on my wall. I kept those in my bad though. I also brought a special box that has a few secret things in there I put that in the bottom drawer of the dresser. Anna came up and told me that it was time we were all heading to bed. I didn’t realize that it was about 10:00 already I was really tired. The next day Anna woke me up at about nine. “Come on we are going shopping!” she said with great excitement. I got up and got dressed and went downstairs. Anna, Keera and Janine were already in the car waiting. They took me to the hardware store first. I picked out this black and hot pink paint for my room. I also picked out black curtains and a pink and black blanket and pillow. Janine was a lawyer she was 26. She paid for everything. I got home and we started paint immediately. It took us a day with all four of us painting. It was so much fun. We were painting each other instead of the walls. I slept in Anna’s room that night. “So Hilary about Robbie you really like him eh?” Anna asked, “Oh yah, he’s really nice,” I answered. “Well you know he really likes you he told me!” I was getting excited. Finally a guy liked me who was my age. Just then Anna’s phone rang.
