"Sean, get lost you and your little posse have done enough damage already!" snapped Nikole. "No, it’s alright." I said wiping the tears from my eyes. I got up and walked away from Nikole and Erica. "Look Jayme, I just wanted to say I’m sorry for everything that happened with Cara. I have figured out now that she was a bitch and I should have never cheated on you in the first place. I know I am a bastard for what I did and I know why you were in the hospital in the first place. I just wanted to let you know that I broke up with Cara because of it and I also wanted to say I was sorry for what I did and what happened to you at the party. Now I got to go so I guess I’ll talk to you later." He turned around and started to walk away. I grabbed his arm and gave him a hug. "Thanks Sean, I really needed to hear that." I whispered to him. I let go and he walked away. I drove Erica and Nikole home and went home myself. I walked in the door and my dad was sitting on the couch watching T.V. He looked at me and looked back at the T.V. At around 6:00 I was bored so I decided to take a drive over to Erica’s I parked at the sidewalk and heard something I didn’t want to hear. I heard Erica screaming from inside. I quietly got out of my car and walked around the side of the house and peered in the kitchen window. I saw Erica standing there with her hand holding her cheek and a man I had never saw before was there. Then he hit her again. My eye’s widened as I saw this horrifying sight. I had no idea what to do. Then I saw her mother walk into the kitchen and she threw the man out of the house. Erica dropped to the floor and started to cry. Her mom came back in and put her arms around Erica. Then I knew it was time to leave. I got back in my car and drove away. I was paranoid that someone saw my car there. The next day at school Erica wasn’t there. At lunch I drove over to Erica’s house. I gathered myself and rang the doorbell.
