"When did you hear this?" I asked trying to stay calm. "She is telling everyone. Fiona told me yesterday!" said Dasa. We stayed at the beach for a couple hours and then we decided to leave because it was getting too crowded. I dropped Dasa and Nikole off and drove home. I got home, unpacked the car, took a shower and went downstairs. The checked my phone messages.
"You have 3 messages. Message 1"
"Hey Jayme its Nikole call me when you get the message!"
"Message 2"

"Message 3"
"Hey Jayme its Dad, I’m just calling to see how you are. I’m not sure how much longer I will be here in SanFransisco. I am hoping to get home in about a week but it might be longer. If you don’t want to be home alone any longer just give me a call and I will book you the next flight out here. I love you and remember my rules."
"You have no more messages"
After my mom left us it was hard for us because my dad had to go on a lot of business trips. When he would go it used to be for 3 days at the most and I would stay over at a friends’ house. Then he was elected Mayor of Los Angeles and his trips grew longer. Usually 1 to 2 weeks he would be gone, but thankfully I was old enough to stay home alone. I called Nikole back and talked to her for a bit. After that I got something to eat and watched some T.V. At around 10:30 I decided to go to bed. I tossed and turned and finally fell asleep.
